More light in Sundsvall

September 2010 – In Scandinavia, things are dark for a large part of the year. So everybody is even more keenly aware that daylight brings benefits that artificial light can't. Daylight is important for our biorhythms and it helps us to bring the best out of ourselves. That is why a major hardware store in the Swedish town of Sundsvall opted for strip roof lights. Poedercoating Heerhugowaard powder coated the aluminium profiles for these strip roof lights.

A nice cup of coffee

December 2009 – January 2010 – Every year, Dutch people drink an average of 150 litres of coffee: four cups a day. Only the Finnish, Swedes, Norwegians and Austrians drink more. In the Netherlands and other countries, there are all sorts of different types of coffee, and coffee machines. Poedercoating Heerhugowaard regularly powder coats parts for the FreshMore coffee machine. For example, the aluminium panels are given a single coating and the stainless-steel cool box receives two powder coatings.

Craftsmanship for Park

December 2008 – On the occasion of his 40th wedding anniversary in 1890, timber trader/dike reeve C. Coverver van Wessem presented the people of Zaandam with a park, “People's Park”. In return, they honoured their benefactor with a commemorative column. Recently, old photographs were used to produce a replica of the fencing at the entrance to the park, restoring the entrance to its former glory.
